Sonja Hodis is a condominium lawyer based in Ontario where she advises owners, boards and property management on condominium issues.  She is also acts as a mediator and arbitrator for condominium disputes.   She has worked with CCI at both the Chapter level and National level in various leadership roles.  She is the current co-chair of the National Events committee and recipient of CCI’s Distinguished Service Award.  

John Popowich, CAFM (CCI Manitoba)

John Popowich, CAFM a senior manager with Lazer Grant LLP and obtained his Certified Aboriginal Financial Manager Designation in 2006. John has been involved with not for profit organizations (NPO) and Indigenous communities for over 30 years primarily as an auditor and then becoming an advisor on financial matters as well as providing training and direction to organizations and communities in Manitoba and Ontario.  John  has always been concerned about the condition and management of the condominium he purchased in 2001. He was elected to the board and became the treasurer of Winnipeg Condominium Corporation # 14, a position he has held since 2011. Along with the other members of the board, he has ensured his condo corporation has met the requirements of the reserve study and feels the board has been instrumental in keeping the condominiums in pristine condition. John is currently the Vice President of the CCI Manitoba chapter.  

Walter Wakula (CCI South Alberta)

Walter Wakula has a Bachelor of Commerce and MBA degrees in accounting and finance and an Institute of Corporate Directors ICD.D designation.  Walker has over 30 years of senior management and corporate director experience.  He has been a very active and motivated director, treasurer and president of his own condominium board and he has served on the board as treasurer of the Condominium Owners Forum Society of Alberta and CCI South Alberta.  Walter has written articles on condo finance management and has taught CCI financial management courses.

Tuan T. Le (CCI Eastern Ontario)

Tuan Le, B. Comm gained valuable finance and accounting experience at an investment brokerage firm and small to mid size enterprises prior to joining Ouseley Hanvey Clipsham Deep LLP. He provides auditing, corporate tax and accounting services to his diverse range of clients including charities, condominiums and private enterprise clients. Outside the office, Tuan travels extensively with his wife and children and carves out time to manage their equity portfolio. Tuan is a member of the Eastern Ontario chapter.

Tracey Wright (CCI Nova Scotia)

Tracey Wright has  a Bachelor of Commerce degree graduate from Dalhousie University and she obtained her Chartered Accounting designation in 1997.  Tracey has been employed full time with the public accounting firm Levy Casey Carter MacLean since 1996 and became a partner in the firm in 2010.  Tracey’s client base is primarily assurance based comprised of non-profit and government organizations.  She has been involved with the audit of condominium corporations for the past twenty five years.  Tracey is a member of the CCI Nova Scotia chapter.
